I’m pleased to share that I will be speaking at ERGOMIND 2026: Seminar Ergonomik dan Kesihatan Mental di Tempat Kerja, organised by Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).
My session will take place on 21 October 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., on the topic:
“Psychosocial Risk Assessment and an Integrated Bio-Neurofeedback Approach to Managing Workplace Stress and Burnout.”
Workplace stress and burnout are often treated as individual issues—something employees are expected to manage through better coping skills or greater resilience.
However, burnout may also reflect wider workplace factors such as excessive workload, limited job control, unclear roles, interpersonal conflict, insufficient organisational support, and an unhealthy psychosocial climate.
During this session, I will explore how psychosocial risk assessment can help organisations identify these contributing factors more systematically. I will also share how biofeedback and neurofeedback perspectives may provide additional insight into how prolonged stress affects physiological and neurological regulation.
My hope is to encourage a more integrated approach—one that combines organisational prevention, early identification, individual regulation, and sustainable workplace support.
I look forward to exchanging perspectives with professionals from occupational safety and health, ergonomics, psychology, mental health, and organisational development.
From your experience, which workplace factor contributes most strongly to employee stress and burnout?
